Dear Weekend Program Community,

It is with great sadness that I write to acknowledge the news that a Sugarloaf employee died yesterday as the result of an accident on the mountain. Alex Witt was a member of the Competition Center staff, a five-year Sugarloaf employee and a friend to many in our community. The Comp Center staff is a part of the CVA family and a loss like this impacts all of us. Please join me in sending deepest sympathy to Alex’s family and friends, his co-workers at the Comp Center and Ski Club and the entire Sugarloaf family. Our freestyle community is in our thoughts as well today.
